Design Aesthetic Reference Guide
The classic Microsoft operating system GUI aesthetic: grey beveled panels, teal desktop backgrounds, pixel-precise borders, and an entire design language built from the four-tone border system that made computing accessible to millions. Every raised button and sunken input field communicates function through depth simulation on flat screens.
Body text (IBM Plex Sans 12px): The Windows 95/98 aesthetic uses a clean, compact sans-serif for maximum readability on low-resolution CRT monitors. Text is rendered without anti-aliasing for crisp pixel edges.
UI Label text (Pixelify Sans): Used for menu items, button labels, tab names, and other interface controls that need to feel native to the OS.
Monospace (IBM Plex Mono):

This design system faithfully recreates the Windows 95/98 visual language using only HTML and CSS. Every beveled border, grey panel, and pixel-precise detail uses the authentic four-tone shadow technique.

Windows cannot find 'modern_design.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Are you sure you want to continue exploring the Windows 95/98 design aesthetic? This may induce extreme nostalgia.
