Nautical Design Reference

Nautical (also known as Sailorcore, Navy, Marine) is an aesthetic centered around sailing, maritime life, and living near the sea. It represents serenity, simplicity, environmentalism, and an appreciation of nature – specifically the ocean, coastline, and seafaring tradition. The style draws from life on boats, in lighthouses, along rocky coasts and docks, evoking the calm and adventure of the open water. It is distinct from Tropical aesthetics, which focus on warm sandy beaches; Nautical emphasizes rocky coastlines, harbors, lighthouses, and the working sea.
